About us

The two combatec partners Harald Koch and Marc Franzen began their close cooperation in 2002. Processes and specific test methods were developed on the premises of Daimler AG, accompanied by innumerable test series. The logical result of the successful cooperation: The founding of combatec GmbH in 2005.

combatec GmbH is an independent test laboratory with its head office in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf. Our 425 m² premises are equipped with leading-edge laboratory equipment, with which to conduct battery testing and battery assessments of the highest order.

Thanks to our analyses, you reduce the risk of guarantee, insurance and compensation claims.  We naturally also carry out tests for operational reliability and assess the causes of faults.

combatec GmbH is globally active today. We also test batteries directly on our customers’ premises.
